The crown liquor saloon also known as the crown bar is a pub in great victoria street in belfast northern ireland. Since its opening it has been renovated twice and was renamed to the crown liquor saloon in 1885 when it changed ownership. The historic victorian gin palace dates back to 1826.
In 1859 it was recorded that the ulster railway hotel was let to mr ohanlon by henry joy. Dating back to the 1880s the crown is a gem of the victorian era. The crown bar was recorded in the 1852 belfast street directory as the ulster railway hotel and tavern the proprietor being terence ohanlon.

Dating back to 1826 the crown liquor saloon in belfast was opened by felix ohanlon as the railway tavern and was then later bought by a bloke named michael flanagan who renamed and renovated the pub in 1885.
